FARMINGTON — Gardiner graduate Kashley Weymouth scored to lead the University of Maine at Farmington to a 2-1 win over Thomas College in North Atlantic Conference field hockey action Tuesday.

Weymouth tapped the ball in from just inside the post late in the second half to give UMF (6-4-0, 5-1-0 in the conference) the win. Rebecca Young scored for UMF earlier in the second half to tie. Curran Brierley made three saves for the Beavers.

Messalonskee graduate Lauren Hachey scored with an assist from Brittany Premo to give the Terriers (5-7-0, 2-4-0 in the conference) a 1-0 leads. Sofia Sourgiadakis made 12 saves.

Maine 4, Dartmouth 2: Four different players scored as the Black Bears earned the non-conference win in Hanover, N.H.

Skowhegan graduate Nicole Sevey, Sydney Veljacic, Danielle Aviani and Holly Stewart each scored a goal for Maine (8-6-0). Gardiner graduate Becca Paradee had an assist. Sydney Kolysher made five saves in her first start of the season for the Black Bears.

Eliza Becker and Olivia Quaglia each scored for Dartmouth (4-7-0). Ellen Meyer made six saves.

Women’s soccer

UM-Farmington 3, Maine Maritime 0: Waterville graduate Kayla Tuttle scored two goals to lead the Beavers to the NAC win in Farmington.

Erskine graduate Meryl Bond added the other goal for UMF (6-6-2, 5-1-0). Jenna Silliboy and Mt. Blue graduate Ava Amador each had an assist. Beth Lebel made one save.

Taylor O’Malley stopped eight shots for the Mariners (3-9-2, 2-5-1).
