HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Washburn lifts Oak Hill

BETHEL -- Luke Washburn had three sacks as the Oak Hill High School football team beat Telstar 52-29 in the season opener for both teams Saturday.

Kyle Flaherty led Oak Hill (2-0) offensively with three rushing touchdowns. Quarterback Parker Asselin ran for a touchdown and connected on a 45-yard pass to Alex Mace for a touchdown.
