AUGUSTA — Bayleigh Logan scored five goals to lead Cony past Lincoln 16-2 in girls lacrosse action Saturday afternoon.
Emily Quirion added three goals and Annie Brannigan had two for the Rams (3-2-0). Mary Kirschner, Josie Lee, Hayley Quirion, Alexis Dostie, Lindsey Kalloch and Hilary Tyler each scored once. Lizzy Dennison made three saves.
Isabelle Carlson scored both goals for Lincoln (0-4-0). Bayley Pendleton and Tess Fields combined to make 11 saves.
Softball
Madison 11, Hall-Dale 6: Emily McKenney had three singles and earned the win on the mound with eight strikeouts to help keep Madison unbeaten in Mountain Valley Conference action.
Erika Parker had a double, two singles and three RBIs for Madison (8-0).
Eva Shepherd had a double and two singles for Hall-Dale (3-3) while Olivia Maynard added two singles. Becca Ackerson took the loss but struck out 11. She also added three singles and two RBIs.
Boys lacrosse
Mt. Ararat 7, Cony 6: Nick Dow had three goals and an assist as the Eagles beat the Rams on Friday in Topsham.
Jeremy Williams added two goals and an assist for Mt. Ararat (4-2), while Seth Martin added a goal and Kyle Lussier, James Tome and Will Hirnak each had an assist.
Brendan Surette had a goal and two assists for Cony (1-5). Bronson Kieltyka and John Bennett each aded two goals, while Nile Benner had a goal and Austin Davis an assist. Isaac Gingras stopped 13 shots for the Rams.
