WATERVILLE -- Ben Chwick scored the game-winning goal to lead Colby College past Salem State 3-2 in men's hockey action Wednesday at Alfond Rink.
Jonathan Sdao assisted on the play. Tommy Kader and Tyler Lingel each added a goal for the Mules (3-7). Sam Parker earned his first collegiate win, making 29 saves.
Kyle Phelan and Cam Moniz scored for Salem State (5-4-1). Ryan Sutliffe made 24 saves.
Men's basketball
Colby 74, Roger Williams 50: Chris Hudnut scored a career-high 24 points and pulled down eight rebounds to lead the Mules in the consolation game of the Naismith Classic in Springfield, Mass.
Danny Chase also had a career-high with 19 points for Colby (3-7). Connor O'Neil added 11 points while Patrick Stewart finished with eight.
Roger Williams falls to 4-6.
