BANGOR -- Parker Sanderson scored three goals and an assist to lead the Bangor High School hockey team past Cony 5-2 in an Eastern A game Monday night.
Zach Papsadora and Carn Franham also scored for Bangor (12-3-0), which raced out to a 5-0 lead through two periods.
Brandon Benson and Dallas Clark scored third-period goals for Cony (11-4-0), which had its seven-game winning streak come to an end. Dylan Cheever added an assist for Cony.
Matt Swan had 29 saves for Cony while Chris Howat and Bobby Winchell combined to stop 29 shots for Bangor.
