The list of events postponed due to the snowstorm that hit the area this weekend grew on Saturday.
The University of Maine at Farmington men’s and women’s basketball games scheduled for Saturday will now be played Sunday. The men will play Johnson State at noon and the women will face Johnson State at 2 p.m.
Also, the USCSA Thompson Division slalom scheduled for Saturday at Sunday River has been postponed. The giant slalom event scheduled for Sunday was also postponed. No make up date has been scheduled.
Thomas College also postponed its Saturday men’s and women’s games to Sunday. The men’s team will play Lyndon State at noon and the women will play Lyndon State at 2 p.m.
The Skowhegan Area High School boys hockey game against John Bapst scheduled for Saturday evening has been postponed until 7:40 p.m. Monday at Sawyer Arena in Bangor. The Gardiner boys hockey game against Cape Elizabeth was also postponed until 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Bank of Maine Ice Vault in Hallowell.
