READFIELD — Christine Miller scored a game-high 23 points to lead Maranacook past Leavitt 38-20 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B girls basketball game Wednesday.

Miller hit three 3-pointers, grabbed seven rebounds, had five steals and dished out four assists in the win. Sarah Clough added eight points for the Black Bears (2-1).

Leavitt (1-2) was led by Megan Dow with seven points.

Messalonskee 47, Brewer 30: Mikayla Turner had 10 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Eagles to the KVAC A win in Oakland.

Kelsey Mayo scored a game-high 16 points for Messalonskee (2-0) while Sophie Holmes added 10.

Brewer (0-2) was led by Madison Burch with 10 points.

CARRABEC 48, HALL-DALE 25: Emma Pluntke scored 18 points to lead the Cobras to a Mountain Valley Conference win in North Anson.

Kate Stevens and Macy Welch each added eight points for Carrabec (2-0).

Nicole Pelletier led Hall-Dale (1-1) with 10 points. Eva Shepherd added seven points for the Bulldogs.

Spruce Mountain 48, Oak Hill 22: Kailee Newcomb scored nine points to lead the Phoenix to the MVC win in Wales.

Samantha Richards added eight points for Spruce Mountain.

Oak Hill was led by Brianna Mulherin with six points and Haley Marshall with five.

Boys basketball

Kents Hill 61, Heborn 55: Luke Arsenault scored 15 points to lead the Huskies to the MAISAD win in Hebron.

Arsenault added five rebounds and three assists for Kents Hill (2-2). Trenton Sirlouis added 12 points and Luke Dragonetti 11. Nelkas Kwemo chipped in with 10 rebounds.

Hebron was led by Jaylen Robinson with 26 points.

Messalonskee 81, Brewer 48: Nick Mayo had a triple-double with 11 points, 15 rebounds and 10 blocks as the Eagles earned the KVAC A win in Oakland.

Jordon Holmes scored a game-high 23 points for Messalonskee (1-1) while Jordan Carson added 16 points and Eric Van Der Karr had 12.

Brewer (0-2) was led by Logan Rogerson with 16 points and Zach Gaulesin with 12.
