LOCAL ROUNDUP: Eagles girls beat Leavitt

Doe, Bridges spark win

SOUTH CHINA — Stephanie Doe and Hannah Bridges each scored nine points to lead Erskine to 47-36 win against Leavitt in Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B girls basketball action Tuesday night.

Katie Gamage added eight points and eight rebounds for Erskine (4-13). Mia Taylor led Leavitt (6-11) with eight points.

ST. DOMINIC 47, WINTHROP 12: Faith Grady scored 16 points and Callie Greco added eight to lead the Saints to the Mountain Valley Conference win Monday night. Kelly Pomerleau finished with 12 points as well for St. Dom’s (15-3).

Winthrop dropped to 0-18.

KENTS HILL 50, NYA 29: Sara Grenier scored a game-high 24 points to lead the Huskies to the win in North Yarmouth.

Emma Curnin added 10 points for Kents Hill (9-4) while Ashley Doyle chipped in with eight.

NYA (6-10) was led by Hannah Carr with 13 points.

BOYS BASKETBALL

WISCASSET 69, HALL-DALE 56: Travis Padilla scored 20 points to lead the Wolverines to the MVC win in Wiscasset.

Dale Peaslee and Brandon Sprague each scored 14 points for Wiscassset (10-8), while Chandler Longfellow scored 11 points and grabbed six rebounds, with five assists and five steals.

Ryan Allen scored 16 points for Hall-Dale (9-9). Bryson Camp scored 15 for the Bulldogs.

MORSE 71, MARANACOOK 66: Ethan Winglass scored 41 points to lead the Shipbuilders to the KVAC B win in Readfield.

Jacob Freeman added 12 points for Morse (14-4).

Taylor Wilbur scored 28 points points to lead Maranacook (13-5). Cam Brochu added 18 points and 11 rebounds while Kent Mohlar chipped in with 15 points, seven rebounds and four steals.

LISBON 52, MONMOUTH 39: Tucker Brannon scored 16 points to lead the Greyhounds to the MVC win in Monmouth.

Johnny Yim added 13 points for Lisbon (11-7).

Brett Wilson, Brandon Goff and Joe Menice each scored 10 points for Monmouth (11-7).
