ORONO — Chandler Rhoads had 18 points as the New Hamphire men’s basketball team beat the University of Maine 57-54 in an America East game Wednesday.

Chris Matagrano added 16 points and Ferg Myrick 13 for the Wildcats (5-14, 1-6 in the conference).

Alasdair Fraser scored a game-high 20 points for Maine (8-12, 3-4 in the conference).

UM-Fort Kent 90, UMA 68: Yoshives Belizaire scored a game-high 20 points to lead the Bengals past the Moose in Bangor.

Curtis Bouchard added 16 points for UMFK (2-18), while Adam Bouchard scored 13 points.

Garrett Alley led UMA (8-16, 7-8 Yankee Small College Conference) with 19 points. Lawrence graduates Keith Chesley and Emmitt Faulker scored 14 points and 11 points, respectively. Cony graduate Walker Cooper scored 11 points.

St. Joseph’s 63, UM-Farmington 55: Matthew Medeiros scored 22 points as the Monks beat the Beavers in Standish.

Steve Simonds added 15 points and Zach Blodgett chipped in 11 for St. Joseph’s (12-7).
Maranacook Community School graduate Ben Johnson had 13 points and 10 rebounds for UMF (15-3). Yusuf Iman added 13 points and Andrew Dickey had 10.

Women’s basketball

UM-Fort Kent 70, UM-Augusta 54: Jenn Copitts scored a game-high 29 points to lead the Bengals to the win in Bangor. Taylor Boucher and Samantha Carapellucci added 12 points apiece for UMFK (13-9).

Cony graduate Allyssa Marson scored 17 points to lead UMA (6-7, 9-11 Yankee Small College Conference). Mt. Blue graduate Corinne Dingley added 13 points while Arreonte Lee chipped in with 11.

Also for UMA, Cony graduate Maegan Cloutier scored seven points and Winslow graduate Haley Madore added six.

Boys basketball

Kents Hill 64, Gann 56: Eli Roberts had 28 points and 10 steals as the Huskies won on the road.
Trevory Guity added 17 points, while Nelkas Kwemo had nine points and 12 rebounds for Kents Hill (7-6). Tim Swavy also had four points and seven steals.

Zach Weiss scored a game-high 31 points for Gann (5-5).

Edward Little 58, Erskine 42: Sean Ford had 18 points and Quin Leary had 17 as the Eddies beat the Eagles on Tuesday.

Caleb McGuire had 14 points for Erskine Academy (1-14).
