AUGUSTA — Josie Lee scored 17 points and Alyssah Dennett added 15 to lead the Cony girls basketball team to the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A win over Erksine Academy on Thursday night.

Bridget Humphrey led the Eagles (11-7) with 11 points. Cony is 11-7.

Hampden 48, Messalonskee 41: Ellie Webb had 12 points as the Broncos beat the Eagles in a KVAC A game in Hampden.

Alex Winchester added 10 points for Hampden (3-15).

Mikayla Turner had 13 points and Taylor Easler 10, while Holly Wentworth had 10 points and six steals for Messalonskee (6-12).

Hall-Dale 59, Winthrop 31: Natasha Brown had 22 points as the Bulldogs beat the Ramblers in an Mountain Valley Conference game in Winthrop.

Nicole Pelletier added seven points for Hall-Dale (9-9).

Shauna Carlson had 12 points for Winthrop (1-17).

Gardiner 56, Maranacook 44: Kylee Granholm scored 18 points as the Tigers beat the Black Bears in a KVAC B game in Readfield.

Ally Day added nine points and 10 rebounds for Gardiner (14-4).

Christine Miller had 20 points, including three 3-pointers for Maranacook (11-7).

Oak Hill 52, Monmouth 33: Freshman Grace Sabine scored a career-high 16 points as the Raiders beat the Mustangs in an MVC game in Wales.

Sabie Goulet and Julie Morneault both added nine points for Oak Hill (11-7).

Melissa Brassard had eight points for Monmouth (13-5).

Richmond 53, Kents Hill 33: Alyssa Pearson had 17 points as the Bobcats beat the Huskies in Richmond.

Kelsey Anair added eight points for Richmond (14-3).

Sarah Grenier had 18 points for Kents Hill.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Oak Hill 43, Monmouth 36: Parker Ashland had 13 points as the Raiders beat the Mustangs in a Mountain Valley Conference game in Wales.

Trevor Samson added seven points and 12 rebounds for Oak Hill (7-11).

Brandon Goff had 13 points and Billy Cummings nine for Monmouth (6-12).

Cony 51, Erskine 47: Dayshawn Roberts scored a team-high 13 points to lead the Rams past the Eagles in a KVAC A game in South China.

Kevin Kingsbury added 10 points for Cony (5-13).

Devin Duncan led Erskine (4-14) with 18 points, while Caleb McGuire added 15 points.

Hampden 65, Messalonskee 46: Tyler Norris scored 19 points to lead the Broncos, who clinched an undefeated regular season with the win in Oakland.

Matt Palmer added 16 points for Hampden (18-0), which led 42-22 at the half.

Aaron Gagne led Messalonskee (10-8) with eight points.

Winthrop 53, Hall-Dale 35: Hunter Kilgore scored 15 points, and Taylor Morang had 10 points and six assists to lead the Ramblers to the MVC win.

Crispin Banda scored 14 points for Winthrop (11-7). Dakota Carter grabbed nine rebounds for the Ramblers.

Michael Woods led Hall-Dale (10-8) with 16 points.
