READFIELD — Christine Miller scored 35 points and grabbed 15 rebounds as the Maranacook Community School girls basketball team beat Morse 57-40 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B game Tuesday.
Sarah Clough added six points and six steals, while Mariah Vining added nine points for the Black Bears (2-0).
Sarah Ostergaard and Emma Harrington each had 10 points for Morse (0-2).
Hall-Dale 50, Wiscasset 27: Natasha Brown scored 11 points and Allison Crockett added 10 to lead the Bulldogs to a come-from-behind MVC victory in Wiscasset.
Crockett also had 17 rebounds and five blocks for Hall-Dale, which trailed 14-7 after the first quarter and 16-14 at the half.
Molly French and Nicole Pelletier each scored eight points for the Bulldogs as well.
Briana Gould scored eight points to pace the Wolverines (1-1).
Richmond 58, Buckfield 19: Jamie Plummer scored 27 points and Noell Acord added eight to lead the Bobcats to the Western D victory in Buckfield.
Ciarra Lancaster added seven points for Richmond (2-0), which led 35-5 at the half. Plummer and Acord had eight and six steals, respectively.
Mishell Mazon scored seven points to lead Buckfield (1-1).
Edward Little 61, Cony 45: Ashley Arnold scored 21 points and Brooke Reynolds added 14 to lead the Red Eddies to the KVAC A win in Auburn. Kory Norcross finished with 11 points for EL (1-1) as well.
Josie Lee scored 12 points and had 10 rebounds to pace Cony (1-1). Emily Sanford had 10 points and seven rebounds while Bailey Logan enjoyed a strong game off the bench. She had six points and five rebounds.
Monmouth 47, Boothbay 46: Kylie Kemp scored a game-high 18 points and Sierra Soencer added 14 to lead the Mustangs to the MVC victory in Boothbay.
Melissa Brassard added five points for Monmouth (1-0).
Alexandra Clarke scored nine points to pace Boothbay (1-1).
