FARMINGTON — Junior Jenna Silliboy scored two goals to lead the University of Maine at Farmington women’s soccer team to a 5-0 win over Lyndon State in a North Atlantic Conference game Wednesday at Prescott Field.

Kayla Tuttle, Baylee Doughty and Bridget Humphrey also scored for the Beavers (1-3-1, 1-0-0 in NAC).
UMF outshot Lyndon State 37-7 and held a 10-1 edge in corner kicks.

Lyndon State dropped to 1-4-0, 0-1-0.

Field hockey

Thomas 5, Daniel Webster 0: Miranda Tinsman scored two goals to lead the Terriers to the non-conference win in Nashua, N.H.

Michelle Greene, Lauren Hachey and Brooklyn Curry also scored for Thomas (3-3), which out-shot Daniel Webster (0-4) 37-1.

Teresa Moscati had 25 saves for the Eagles.

Colby 4, UM-Farmington 0: Megan Fortier and McKayla Blanch each scored goals in the opening five minutes of the game and the Mules cruised to the non-conference victory at Bill Alfond Field in Waterville.

Erika Johnson and Misha Strage also scored for the Mules (3-1).

Curran Brierley had 19 saves for the Beavers.

Also Wednesday: Waterville native Brian Potter had three saves for the Husson men’s soccer team, which tied Maine Maritime Academy 0-0 in Castine.
