Mariah Hebert of Biddeford High has been named Maine's Gatorade Volleyball Player of the Year.

The 5-foot-7 senior setter had 350 assists, 56 digs, 48 service aces, 25 kills and 12 blocks this season for the 16-1 Tigers who lost to Greely High of Cumberland in the Class A state championship.
Hebert was named the Maine Sunday Telegram's Player of the Year earlier. She carries a 4.95 weighted grade point average.
