BOYS HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL ROUNDUP: Jamison lifts Tigers to win

NEWCASTLE — Tyler Jamison scored 26 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead the Gardiner boys basketball team to a 62-54 win over Lincoln Academy on Tuesday night.
Dennis Meehan had 13 points and four steals for the Tigers (2-0), who trailed 34-30 at halftime.
Caleb Farrin led Lincoln (0-2) with 16 points.

Bangor 67, Messalonskee 57, OT: The Rams outscored the Eagles 12-2 in overtime on their way to a KVAC A win in Oakland.
Sean Tocci led Bangor (1-1) with 17 points, including five 3-pointers. Alex Campbell chipped in with 13.
Jordan Holmes scored 19 points and Elijah Steele 12 for Messalonskee (1-1).

Hebron 65, Kents Hill 56: Shak Cezon-Holmes scored 28 points and Chad Manbhuenko added 10 to lead the Lumberjacks at Hebron.
Ian King scored nine points for Hebron (3-2) as well.
Elijah Roberts scored a game-high 39 points for the Huskies (2-3). Tim Swavy scored seven points and Nelkas Kwemo grabbed 10 rebounds as well.

Lewiston 60, Erskine 54: The host Blue Devils pulled away in the second quarter en route to the KVAC Class A win. Isiah Harris led Lewiston (1-1) with 13 points while Donne Agassou added 11. For Erskine (0-2), Nathanial Trask scored 17 points and Devin Duncan 16.

Edward Little 67, Cony 44: Quinlan Leary scored 19 points and Sean Ford added 14 to lead the Red Eddies to the KVAC A victory in Augusta. Mahad Mohamed scored 11 points for EL (2-0), which led 11-8 after the first quarter before it pulled away.
Zach Lachance scored a gme-high 18 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead the Rams (0-2).

College men

USM 69, UMF 52: Alex Kee scored 17 points to lead the University of Southern Maine to the non-conference win over host University of Maine at Farmington. Ben Johnson led UMF (7-2) with 19 points and seven rebounds while teammate Andrew Dickey added 15 points.
Brandon Tomah added 16 points for USM (6-2) while Sean Bergeron scored 10 and Mike Poulin had seven assists.
