We're on brink of social and economic collapse

No matter where I look, be it KJOnline, MSNBC or Fox News, I see the same thing, finger-pointing.

Our country has become one of spineless bellyachers who stand on their soapboxes blaming everyone and everything other then themselves (or their parties) for all the ills of the nation.

Bipartisanship is dead across this country; no one is willing to give anything yet they try and take everything. Because of this attitude, our great nation stands on the brink of social and economic collapse.

The only hope of stabilization we have is to get our leaders off those soapboxes and back to the negotiationg tables.

Red or blue, donkey or elephant, we all must be willing to make the sacrifices necessary to regain control of our economy, our country, if we are to continue with our way of life.

Each one of us needs to take a step back, look at our neighbors, our co-workers, our fellow Americans and realize that they are not our enemies. We must rise up in one voice and proclaim that enough is enough. We must hold those we elect into power accountable, Republican and Democrat, past, present and future to be the guardians of the American way of life that we elected them to be.

We all should use reason and acceptance where there has been only bitterness and contempt for so long and help work toward the common goal of the betterment of our nation. Let us bring this great nation back to the point where we can pass it into the hands of our future generations with our heads held high.
