Plourde made adaptive equipment program work

Letter to the Editor

I am writing to show my support of Penny Plourde, the Democratic candidate running for Senate District 24. I have known Plourde personally and professionally for 20-plus years.

I worked with Plourde through my employment at the Finance Authority of Maine. She was a board member for the Kim Wallace Adaptive Equipment Loan Program Fund Board. She worked tirelessly to make sure the program met the fiduciary responsibilities for the citizens of Maine. She was determined to make sure the program was available for years to come for persons with disabilities as well as businesses.

Plourde is a kind and caring individual, always willing to help others and giving her time and of herself whenever possible. People should contact her if they have questions about her stance on issues.
