Shame on senators for destroying capitalism

Kennebec Journal Staff

I would like to applaud the Kennebec Journal for its editorial, July 18 regarding the financial bill, which is a bad bill.

Shame on our two senators for voting for it.

This was another example of Washington taking advantage of a problem instead of solving it.

They did the same thing with the stimulus, the bailouts and the health care.

They will try to do the same thing with cap-and-trade, which was unpopular so they have changed the name, same thing with a new name, and they will use the oil spill to push it.

This White House and its people are trying to destroy capitalism any and every way possible.
