The liberal mindset is alive and well as evidenced recently by all the "letters to editor" -- with fear of conservatism being their primary theme.
The writers seem to be running scared because good, solid candidates such as Paul LePage and Dean Scontras are truly resonating with the people of Maine.
These letters have attacked most particularly (and most pointedly) long-held traditional values and beliefs, because liberals see such standards as being detrimental to the government-controlled secular society that they envision.
Here is a news flash, folks.
Obama-laced politics are failing miserably, and more and more people are beginning to notice.
We must return to a value system that is good for families and to constitutional principles that will be beneficial to Maine and its economy.
We can make it happen in November.
