Chris Johnson and I have served on the Sheepscot Valley Regional School Unit Board of Directors since the RSU was organized. It has been a most fulfilling experience.
During that time, I have found Chris to be an active, fair and insightful member, always promoting and seeking to improve public education.
Since joining the board, he has chaired the important Policy Committee as it has considered and recommended the many and varied topics that must be adopted by a functioning school administrative unit. The individual board members have confidence in his work and value his insight and congenial approach. These are all qualities that a legislator should possess and display.
I hope that you will favorably consider Chris Johnson on Feb. 14 and allow him to ably represent the residents of Senate District 20.
