Former clerk thanks residents of Pittston

Letter to the editor

I want to thank the residents of Pittston for allowing me to serve the community for more than 25 years.

It has been my pleasure and privilege, and I hope I have served them well.

Residents have had impacts on my life that have been memorable and meaningful.

I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to have registered their children to vote, issued those children their marriage licenses and birth certificates for their grandchildren.

The past 25 years have flown by. These have been very happy years that I will always remember fondly.

Having residents' love and support over the past few months has made me realize how truly blessed I am to have all of them as part of my family.
