Davis can cut through to core of complex issues

Letter to the Editor

I have know Scott Davis, Republican candidate for House District 82, for many years. We first met when Davis handled all the insurance needs for the business I managed in Winthrop, therefore Davis and I worked closely together.

I was always confident that Davis had our best interest at heart, that he was very competent in his profession and that he would seek the best possible solutions for us. He displayed the ability to take a series of complex issues and boil them down into plain language that could be used to make good decisions

Davis and I have discussed many public policy issues over the years. From the discussions, it is plain that Davis has thought carefully about the balancing of interests in government policy and administration.

Davis' analytical and problem-solving skills are just what we need in our state Legislature.
