Crockett supports our Franco-Americans

Kennebec Journal Staff

I am voting for Democrat Patsy Crockett to represent District 57 because I know she can do the job. She has a proven record of results.

Dick and I have known Crockett for many years. Having worked with Crockett on a number of legislative matters, Dick had the greatest respect not only for her work ethic, but also her incredible ability to get things done.

I also won't miss an opportunity to vote for Crockett because of what she has done to promote our Franco- American culture.

She sponsored legislation to change the name of the bridge in Augusta to Calumet Bridge at Old Fort Western. She sponsored resolutions for Festival de la Bastille.

She also brought recognition to our area by nominating our neighbor to the Maine Franco-American Hall of Fame.

Crockett has proven she supports the Franco-American community and I will support her on Nov. 6.
