Church dress code showsall are NOT welcome

Kennebec Journal Staff

Appearing in the St. Michael's Church Bulletin June 23-24 was the directive "What to Wear for Church." The following excerpts will be quoted: "Shorts for men or women, bare backs, low cut tops, etc. are not appropriate clothing for those who are coming to worship God. Nor are shirts with rock groups or beer commercials."

Apparently the hymn "All are Welcome" needs to be changed to "All are NOT Welcome in this Place." The clergy may discriminate but never has Almighty God judged anyone on how they are dressed when they come to Him in prayer.
