Bad idea to raise interstate speed limit to 75 mph

I cannot believe a speed limit of 75 miles per hour is being considered for the interstate.

It is 65 mph, now, and almost everyone goes 70, me included. If it is raised to 75, mark my words, people will go 80 mph. I suggest that it be moved to 70; that way the 75 mph will be accomplished.

Anyone going to 80 mph, should get a maximum fine, as I did many years ago.
