5:48 p.m., a theft was reported at Forbidden Fruit on Water Street.
6:20 p.m., a theft was reported at Walmart on Civic Center Drive.
10:17 p.m., disorderly conduct was reported on Swan Street.
SATURDAY
At 1:21 a.m., an assault was reported at Shenanigans on Water Street.
1:42 a.m., disorderly conduct was reported on Cedar Street.
2:55 a.m., a burglar alarm was reported at Kmart on Western Avenue.
4:32 a.m., criminal trespass was reported at Water Street Apartments.
8:57 a.m., a traffic hazard was reported at Front and Water streets.
12:05 p.m., shoplifting was reported at Olympia Sports on Whitten Road.
1:19 p.m., theft was reported at Rite Aid on Hospital Street.
2:12 p.m., a weapons violation was reported at Williams Playground on Quimby Street. Dispatchers recieved a call about a couple of young boys having a collapsible baton, similar to those carried by police; but the boys were gone by the time police arrived at the playground, said Augusta police Lt. Kevin Lully.

At 6:36 p.m., Tricia Marie Berry, 37, of Augusta, was arrested on a charge of theft at the Hannaford supermarket on Whitten Road.
