Two charged in Western Avenue disturbance
AUGUSTA -- Two women were charged with separate offenses following a report of a disturbance in the parking lot of the Big Apple, Western Avenue, 5:12 p.m. Saturday.
Carmen Savage, 57, of Portland, was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence, and Yvonne Barbara Wilson, 60, formerly of Augusta and also of Portland, was issued a summons on a charge of domestic violence.
Augusta Police Sgt. Christopher Shaw said the women were arguing about whether to go to Portland or Bangor. "The clerk saw the commotion outside, and it was clear Yvonne was the primary aggressor," Shaw said.

At 4:30 p.m., a caller from Tractor Supply Co., Civic Center Drive, reported a theft.
7:50 p.m., a Chapel Street caller reported a person was missing. The juvenile was located Sunday morning, police said.
SUNDAY
At 9:41 a.m., a 27-year-old Augusta woman was summoned on a charge of theft at Hannaford, Cony Street.
12:36 p.m., a caller from Maine Smoke Shop, Western Avenue, reported a theft/shoplifting.
2:23 p.m., one person was taken by ambulance to MaineGeneral Medical Center, Augusta, following a crash at State and Winthrop streets. No further details were available.
2:54 p.m., police summoned an individual on an assault charge following a report of a disturbance/disorderly conduct on Caswell Street.

At 2:58 a.m., Charles W. Seals, 22, of Augusta, was arrested on a warrant on North Street following a report of a disturbance/disorderly conduct.
Theodore W. Zagwyn, 27, of Farmingdale was arrested at the Augusta Police Department, Union Street, on a warrant charging failure to pay fines.
