Police Report: 2 Farmingdale men arrested on drugs, weapon charges

AUGUSTA -- Two Farmingdale men were arrested Thursday in Augusta on charges of aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

Jonathan T. Flood, 21, and Joseph Dion, 18, had an initial hearing Friday in Augusta District Court via video from the jail.

The charges say the men had marijuana near a school.

The judge set bail for Flood at $5,000 cash or $15,000 worth of property, and for Dion at $2,000 cash or $15,000 worth of property.

6:09 a.m., disturbance was reported at Pine View Estates on Capitol Street.

6:29 a.m., a burglary was reported at White & Bradstreet on Weeks Mills Road.

8:41 a.m., there were intoxicated people at the intersection of Civic Center Drive and Garden Court.

8:50 a.m., fraud was reported at Central Maine Property Management on Middle Street.

9:21 a.m., disturbance was reported at Crosby Street.

11:01 a.m., an accident was reported at mile 108 on Interstate 95 southbound.

12:24 p.m., harassment was reported on Chapel Street.

12:53 p.m., lost property was reported at Cony High School on Pierce Drive.

2:01 p.m., a 45-year-old Augusta man was charged with criminal mischief on Water Street.

2:56 p.m., shoplifting was reported at Kohl's on Stephen King Drive.

3:10 p.m., an assault was reported on Sewall Street.

3:30 p.m., a theft was reported at Bread of Life Ministries on Water Street.

4:10 p.m., domestic disturbance was reported on Haskell Street.

12:06 p.m., suspicious activity was reported at East Side Scrap Metal.

4:45 p.m., criminal mischief was reported on Hallowell Road.

10:39 a.m., criminal mischief was reported on Morrill Road.

9:28 p.m., threatening was reported on Morrill Road.

11:25 a.m., a burglary was reported on Maine Avenue.

6:28 p.m., suspicious activity was reported on Blaine Road.

10:58 p.m., suspicious activity was reported at J&S Oil on Maine Avenue.

6:38 a.m., a theft was reported on Highland Avenue.

VASSALBORO

THURSDAY

3:46 p.m., a 28-year-old Vassalboro woman was charged with theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Stone Road.

WEST GARDINER

9:23 a.m., harassment was reported on Ashley Lane.

2:33 p.m., suspicious activity was reported on Chets Meadow Road.

2:40 p.m., there was a report of threatening on Piper Road.

8:58 p.m., a 30-year-old Winthrop man was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license on Main Street.
