Police Report: Richmond woman charged in 2 pharmacy robberies

TOPSHAM -- A Richmond woman has been charged in connection with a pair of pharmacy robberies that occurred on the same day earlier this month.

Sarah Wilson, 29, with a last known address of Richmond, was arrested last week and charged with two counts of robbery. Wilson was being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.

Police told the Times Record newspaper that Wilson entered the drugstores within minutes of each other and passed the pharmacists a note demanding prescription painkillers.

The note made reference to another person with a gun. No weapon was displayed and police did not recover a weapon or see a weapon displayed on surveillance footage.

The Times Record reported that police tracked Wilson down with the help of surveillance video.

6:46 p.m., a disturbance was reported on Mount Vernon Avenue.

9:55 p.m., a domestic disturbance was reported on Wilson Street.

At 12:15 a.m., two 18-year-old women, one from Cape Neddick and the other from York, were each charged with being a minor possessing liquor by police checking the welfare of a person at Friendly's on Western Avenue.

6:04 a.m., mischief was reported at the former Circuit City store on Stephen King Drive.

At 6:16 p.m., one person was taken to the hospital with a complaint of pain after a crash on River Road.

TUESDAY

At 12:46 a.m., suspicious activity was reported on Oakwood Park.

7:02 a.m., theft was reported on Hideaway Acres Road.

At 8:02 p.m., there was an accident on Route 3.

GARDINER

MONDAY

At 10:56 a.m., there was an accident on Mechanic Street.

11:26 a.m., suspicious activity was reported on Brunswick Avenue.

2 p.m., theft was reported on Brunswick Avenue.

2:31 p.m., theft was reported at Mike's Sidetrack Bar and Grill on Water Street.

5:01 p.m., suspicious activity was reported on River Avenue.

7:40 p.m., suspicious activity was reported on Dresden Avenue.

HALLOWELL

TUESDAY

At 1:48 am., firefighters responded to an alarm at Sparetime Recreation on Whitten Road.

PITTSTON

MONDAY

At 11:26 a.m., there was a report of suspicious activity on Brunswick Avenue.

VASSALBORO

MONDAY

At 9:29 a.m., a burglar alarm sounded on Cemetery Street.

7:30 p.m., suspicious activity was reported on Dunham Road.

TUESDAY

At 1:10 a.m., suspicious activity was reported at the intersection Riverside Drive and Bog Road.

WHITEFIELD

THURSDAY

A 40-year-old Whitefield man was charged with failure to show proof of insurance and permitting unlawful use of a motor vehicle on Mills Road.

AUGUSTA

MONDAY

At 4:30 p.m., Felicia Leigh Ingraham, 18, of Augusta, was arrested on charges of theft and being a minor possessing liquor by police responding to shoplifting complaint at the Hannaford supermarket on Whitten Road.

11:50 p.m., Justin M. Savell, 29, of Augusta, was arrested on warrants by police responding to a report of disorderly conduct on State Street.

CHELSEA

MONDAY

At 9:27 p.m., Shane Lemaund Collins, 42, of Chelsea, was arrested on a warrant by police responding to a 911 hang-up call on Harlan Drive.

WHITEFIELD

JULY 25

Troy Sidelinger, 34, of Augusta, was arrested on a charge of violating probation, on Mills Road.
