Bicycle accident puts woman in hospital

FAYETTE -- Police and rescue responded to a bicycle accident on the Bamford Hill Road around 2 p.m. Saturday.

The patient, a 50-year-old female, was transported by helicopter to the Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

No further information is available.

8:53 p.m., a theft was reported at the Augusta Police Department on Union Street.

10:59 p.m., a disturbance was reported on Sewall Street.

SATURDAY

At 12:28 a.m., a disturbance was reported at the Bridge Street Tavern on Bridge Street.

12:59 a.m., a disturbance was reported at Doobie's on Water Street.

1:34 a.m., a disturbance was reported on Mill Street.

2:59 a.m. a disturbance was reported at Mid Maine Maintenance, Inc. on Northern Avenue.

8:45 a.m., a disturbance was reported on Chapel Street.

10:56 a.m., a theft was reported at the Christmas Tree Shops on Whitten Road.

11:27 a.m., a theft was reported at Rent A Center on Western Avenue.

FRIDAY

At 10:29 p.m., police received a report of criminal mischief at the Wharf on Water Street.
