WILTON — Police arrested a man Wednesday who is wanted on a warrant in Kentucky on 15 counts of sexual abuse.

The man, Jaime Johnson, 44, was arrested on Village View Street at the residence of a relative by Officer Chad Abbot, said police Chief Heidi Wilcox.

Kentucky officials called Wednesday with information on Johnson’s location and Wilton police arrested him at 11:30 p.m. as a fugitive from justice, according to Wilcox.

Johnson is being held at the Franklin County Jail. Bail has not been set. Johnson is scheduled for a bail hearing Friday in Franklin County Superior Court.
