Yarmouth Boat Yard owner buys Moose Landing in Naples

The marina on Brandy Pond is the largest on-water facility in the Lakes Region.

NAPLES — The owner of Yarmouth Boat Yard is getting into the freshwater business.

Steve Arnold announced Monday that he has purchased Moose Landing Marina on Brandy Pond.

The marina along Route 302 in Naples is the largest on-water facility in the Lakes Region, according to Moose Landing's website. It has more than 1,000 feet of frontage on Brandy Pond and nearly 300 deep-water slips.

The marina sells new and used boats, storage space and boat parts among other products and services.

"To have a freshwater marina operation to complement our coastal, saltwater location in Yarmouth is very exciting," Arnold said in a prepared statement.

Moose Landing has been owned by Dan Craffey since 2003, according to its website.
