Poland Spring awards $23K in scholarships

 

POLAND SPRING — Poland Spring Water Company has granted $23,000 in scholarships to Maine high school seniors.

Twenty Good Science scholarships were given to seniors planning to study science, engineering, or the environment in college, while three Manny Wing Music Scholarships were given to musically inclined seniors.

The Good Science Scholarship program was established in 2007. The Manny Wing scholarship, new this year, was established after longtime Poland Spring employee and gifted musician Manny Wing died unexpectedly in March.
