AUGUSTA — Aaron Whitcomb, 70, of Readfield was found not guilty on a charge of domestic-violence assault following a bench trial in Augusta District Court.

Whitcomb’s attorney, Lisa Whittier, said Judge Beth Dobson cleared Whitcomb of the charges on Nov. 8.

The state had charged that the offense occurred July 29 in Manchester.
