Clark received her master's degree in family nurse practitioner studies from the University of Vermont College of Nursing and Health Services. In 2005, she received a master's degree in natural resource planning from the University of Vermont Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources.

Her interest in environmental sciences lends itself to a professional interest on the impact of food, diet and environmental conditions on human health.

Before joining Franklin Health Pediatrics, Clark provided patient care at the University of Maine Farmington Student Health Center.

Clark lives in New Portland with her husband, Gabe, and 18-month-old daughter Maisie.
