WINDSOR — A locally based business has donated $25,000 to establish a scholarship fund for Windsor residents.

NETCo Services, on Ridge Road in Windsor, donated the money to provide scholarships of up to $2,500 a year to students up to 25 years old who have resided in town for the past seven years continuously and who wish to enroll in college.

NETCo, according to town officials, supplies security products to the commercial nuclear power industry.

“The town of Windsor is honored to have such a dedicated company like NETCo to support the continued education of our Windsor residents,” Town Manager Theresa Haskell said in a news release.

Applications are available at the Windsor Town Office, on the town’s website at www.windsor.maine.gov, and local high schools. Applications must be submitted to: The NETCo Scholarship Fund for Windsor Residents, c/o Town of Windsor, P.O. Box 179, Windsor, Maine 04363 and must be in by June 30.
