Smithfield voters on Saturday will consider approving a municipal budget that is about the same as the current $750,513 budget.

The meeting will be at 7 p.m. at the municipal building at 926 Village Road, and municipal elections will be held 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the same location.

There are no contested races. No one is running for a seat on the School Administrative District 54 Board of Directors being vacated by Crystal Churchill.

The proposed budget does not include county and school budgets, which will not be known until June, according to Nichole Clark, administrative assistant to selectmen.
