AUGUSTA — A tractor-trailer hauling logs collided with a crossover vehicle on Civic Center Drive Tuesday afternoon, and injuries were reported among the crossover vehicle’s passengers.
The accident was located near Exit 112 northbound, and occured about 2:25 p.m.
Several passers-by were seen running to the crossover vehicle, which was damaged along the driver’s side. A state police vehicle was on scene shortly following the accident, and additional emergency units were en route.
Additional details were not available late Tuesday.
