Police arrested a dozen people last week as part of an ongoing drug investigation in Old Orchard Beach that spanned the past several months.

More than 60 officers – from the Old Orchard Beach Police Department’s Special Enforcement Team with assistance from other town, county, state and federal agencies – made the arrests Friday, Old Orchard Beach Police Chief Dana Kelley announced Monday.

“These were all based on buys that were made by undercover officers,” Kelley said. He said the drugs included cocaine, heroin and prescription medications.

Police set out Friday with the arrest warrants and search warrants for five locations. They made most of the arrests at those five locations, and seized a handgun from one home, Kelley said.

These arrests were made:

Marci Ladakakos, 35, of Old Orchard Beach was charged with aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs.

Chad Grover, 32, of Old Orchard Beach was charged with two counts of aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs.

Charles-Vincent Day, 24, of Old Orchard Beach was charged with two counts of aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs and one count of driving with a suspended license.

James Fogg, 31, of Old Orchard Beach was charged with three counts of aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs.

Bryan Provencher, 46, of Old Orchard Beach was charged with four counts of aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs.

Derrick L. Berry, 60, of Saco was charged with one count of aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs and two counts of drug trafficking.

Susan Gilmour, 51, of Old Orchard Beach was charged with one count of aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs.

Joseph Brill, 61, of Old Orchard Beach was charged with one count of aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs.
