The Hebron Station School, located in Oxford County, will remain closed for the rest of the week after a Dec. 24 heating oil delivery resulted in an oil spill that has seeped into the ground.

According to WMTW Channel 8, 1,800 gallons of oil was delivered to the school with some of that oil spilling into the concrete bunker surrounding the tank.

The Department of Environmental Protection is currently performing ground and air tests in Hebron to determine whether it will be safe for the school to open next week.
