NEWINGTON, N.H. — A New Hampshire Air National Guard KC-135 refueling plane has landed safely at Pease International Tradeport after having problems with its landing gear.

WMUR-TV reports that the plane’s three crewmen were on a routine training exercise between Newington and Manchester at around 6:15 p.m. Thursday when they became aware of an issue with the tread on the front tire.

The pilot was able to make a soft landing. No injuries were reported.

The national guard plans to investigate the incident.
