Although the Gardiner Planning Board previously was expected to review a proposal for a medical marijuana growing facility at its meeting Tuesday, the applicant hasn’t resubmitted his proposal yet after withdrawing it last month.

The board had been scheduled to conduct a site review at its March meeting for CBD Headquarters LLC, which proposed to use part of a warehouse at 650 River Ave. for the production of medical marijuana products.

Nate Rudy, the city’s director of economic and community development, said he doesn’t think the applicant, Eli Poulin, will resubmit the proposal, but he hasn’t heard from the applicant one way or the other.

Poulin declined to discuss any details of the proposal, besides saying it was moving forward. He wouldn’t say when or if he will resubmit the proposal to the city.

“Things are definitely in motion. Things are real positive,” Poulin said Tuesday by telephone.

A site review is the most extensive review conducted by the city for new businesses, Rudy said, although the proposed use is allowed in the zoning district.
