NORTH ANSON — The owner of a North Anson business has offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of thieves who broke in and stole $50,000 worth of tools and lumber.
Clinton Bradbury, owner of the North Anson Log Yard, said Wednesday if the people who broke into his business Monday night are not caught, they will just do it again.
The thieves not only made off with lumber and tools, but also vandalized the business.
Bradbury tells the Sun Journal he is counting on someone who saw something suspicious to call police. He says it's not easy to be driving down the road in the middle of the night with a truck full of lumber and not be spotted.
The Somerset County Sheriff's Department is investigating.
