Two Augusta residents were arrested during a traffic stop on Stone Street. The driver, Kathy Tupper, 47, was charged with violating conditions of release. Passenger James Haskell, 37, was charged with unlawful possession of drugs after police reportedly found him carrying cocaine and heroin.

At 12:47 a.m., Jake Allen Cloutier, 21, of Chelsea, was arrested on a warrant by police responding to a 911 hang-up on Dr. Mann Road.

Justin Steward, 30, of Farmingdale, was arrested on charges of violating conditions of release, unlawful possession of Suboxone and sale and use of drug paraphernalia after police conducting a bail check at his Bowman Street home reportedly found drugs and marijuana seeds in his bedroom and vehicle.

John Upham, 58, of Litchfield, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence assault by police responding to a complaint on Hallowell Road. A police report indicates Upham and his wife were involved in a week-long argument that ended when Upham allegedly bit the woman on her arm.
