4:58 p.m., theft was reported on Linden Street.

6:18 p.m., a 19-year-old Augusta woman was summoned on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer by police responding to a report of shoplifting at Shaw's supermarket on Western Avenue.

6:22 p.m., child abuse offenses were reported on Mount Vernon Avenue.

8:54 p.m., theft was reported on Glenridge Drive.

10:24 p.m., disorderly conduct was reported on Water Street.

11:30 p.m., drug offenses were reported at MaineGeneral Medical Center on East Chestnut Street.

Tuesday

At 2:56 a.m., a disturbance was reported on Washington Street Place.

5:28 a.m., criminal mischief was reported on Northern Avenue.

7:16 a.m., traffic complaints were reported on Riverside Drive.

7:28 a.m., an assault was reported on Capitol Street.

7:56 a.m., thefts were reported at Minuteman Signs on State Street.

9:25 a.m., a disturbance was reported on Mount Vernon Avenue.

11:12 a.m., theft was reported at Walmart on Civic Center Drive.

12:10 p.m., shoplifting was reported at Kohl's on Stephen King Drive.

2:08 p.m., there was an accident on Bond Brook Road.

2:21 p.m., disorderly conduct was reported on Chapel Street.

2:27 p.m., disorderly conduct was reported on Lambert Avenue.

3:11 p.m., there was an accident on Eastern Avenue.

3:52 p.m., a burglary was reported on Court Street.

3:59 p.m., injury was reported after a crash on State Street.

5:09 p.m., fraud was reported on Leighton Road.

At 16:45 p.m., theft was reported on Blaine Road.

At 5:51 p.m., there was an accident on Cobbossee Avenue.

8:35 p.m., there was a report of suspicious activity on River Avenue.

Monday

At 7:23 p.m., a motor vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of Second and Temple streets.

Jefferson

Thursday

A 1994 Dodge 1500 pickup truck being driven on Route 215 by a Jefferson boy, 17, went off the road and hit a utility pole after a front tire went flat.

Sunday

A 1993 Subaru Impreza being driven north on East Pond Road by a Jefferson man, 18, went off the road and hit a utility pole. The driver said he fell asleep, perhaps because of new medication.

Litchfield

Monday

At 10:49 a.m., an alarm sounded on Eternity Drive.

4:52 p.m., an assault was reported on Perkins Road.

Tuesday

At 7:26 a.m., suspicious activity was reported on Huntington Hill Road.

Manchester

Tuesday

At 1:27 a.m., a burglar alarm sounded on Williamson Road.

Monmouth

Monday

At 6:10 p.m., there was a report of suspicious activity on Chipmunk Lane.

Somerville

Sunday

A 2004 Cadillac SRX being driven north on Patricktown Road by a Windham woman, 23, hit a deer.

Wayne

At 4:20 a.m., suspicious activity was reported on Mount Pisgah Road.

Whitefield

Friday

A 2002 Toyota Forester being driven east on Rockland Road by an Augusta woman, 47, hit a deer.

Winthrop

Sunday

At 12:59 p.m., there was a report of a stray animal.

7:10 p.m., there was a report of an unauthorized burn.

Monday

At 11:44 a.m., trespassing was reported.

3:14 p.m., there was as report of suspicious activity.

Arrests

Augusta

Monday

At 4:10 p.m., Patricia Ann Payson, 38, of Augusta, was arrested on charges of theft by deception and criminal trespass by police responding to a report of shoplifting at Walmart Supercenter on Civic Center Drive.

Gardiner

Friday

Two Gardiner residents were arrested on Highland Road. Ronald Hanson, 38, and Rebecca Hones, were each charged with theft. Hanson also was charged with violating conditions of release.

Jefferson

Saturday

Wesley Glidden, 29, of Jefferson, was arrested on a warrant charging failure to pay fines.
