A local woman called police after discovering a scam involving a vehicle for sale on Craigslist. The woman reportedly lost $550.
A local woman called police after a person called her twice and convinced her to give her credit card information to a Western Union account in exchange for help fixing a computer problem. The call turned out to be a scam. The victim lost about $500.
FRIDAY
A 1995 Dodge 1500 pickup truck being driven north on Indian Road by a 19-year-old Richmond man went off the road and hit a tree. Police said the truck was going too fast for conditions and failed to make a corner.
