AUGUSTA

THURSDAY

At 7:15 p.m., criminal trespassing was reported on Gannett Street.

8:08 p.m., shoplifting was reported at American Eagle Outfitters on Stephen King Drive.

FRIDAY

At 2:40 a.m., suspicious activity was reported on Blaine Avenue.

6:59 a.m., burglary from a motor vehicle was reported on Pearl Street.

12:29 p.m., a caller from Country Village Motel, Riverside Drive, reported a domestic disturbance.

1:49 p.m., a caller from Guerrette Properties, State Street, reported harassment.

3:20 p.m., a caller from the MaineGeneral Medical Center construction trailer site, Medical Center Parkway, reported a theft. 

4:33 p.m., a caller from Damon’s Quick Stop, Civic Center Drive, reported a theft. 

GARDINER

THURSDAY

At 7:25 p.m., criminal mischief was reported on Water Street.

FRIDAY

At 2:04 a.m., a suspicious vehicle was reported on Brunswick Avenue.

MONMOUTH

THURSDAY

At 11:01 a.m., theft was reported at Phil’s Super Variety on U.S. Route 202.

MOUNT VERNON

THURSDAY

At 3:58 p.m., suspicious activity was reported on Seavey Corner Road.

WINTHROP

FRIDAY

At 1 p.m., a 26-year-old East Winthrop woman was issued a summons charging her with failing to notify the owner of property damaged in an accident and failure to report an accident. The charges followed a report of a 6:08 a.m. hit-and-run crash on U.S. Route 202 in East Winthrop. Detective Peter Struck of the Winthrop police said the vehicle involved in the crash was found later on Carlton Pond Road, where it had been abandoned.

Arrests

SIDNEY

THURSDAY 

At 5:44 p.m., Eric Dennis York, 29, of Sidney, was arrested on Middle Road on a warrant charging him with failure to pay a fine imposed for his conviction for receiving stolen property.
