At 4:49 p.m., a 42-year-old Litchfield man was issued a summons on the Calumet Bridge on a charge of operating under the influence.
5:10 p.m., police arrested an unidentified person on a charge of theft at Shaw’s Plaza on Western Avenue.
9:26 p.m., a 23-year-old Augusta man was issued a summons charging him with theft at Shaw’s supermarket on Western Avenue.
THURSDAY
At 7:13 a.m., a caller from Glenridge Gardens Apartments on Glenridge Drive reported an assault.
7:19 a.m., a 74-year old Pittston man was issued a summons on Columbia Street charging him with failing to report a property-damage accident.
8:45 a.m., a caller from The Mailing Center on Western Avenue reported a theft.
12:10 p.m., shoplifting was reported at Walmart on Civic Center Drive.
2:26 p.m., theft was reported at Big Apple on Stone Street.
3:19 p.m., a 25-year-old Mount Vernon man was summoned for theft at the Hannaford supermarket on Cony Street.
5:42 p.m., disorderly conduct was reported on Bridge Street.
5:46 p.m., theft was reported on Penobscot Street.

At 12:01 a.m., a 22-year-old Winthrop man was summoned on U.S. Route 202 on a charge of operating a motor vehicle after registration suspension and on a violation of bail conditions.

At 5:43 a.m., Jesse L. Baker, 29, of Augusta, was arrested on a warrant after police responded to a report of a disturbance on Spring Street. At least one person was taken to MaineGeneral Medical Center.
