Brass knuckles inflict cut during assault

AUGUSTA — A 19-year-old city man was injured around 1:40 p.m. Saturday on North Street Place during an aggravated assault in which the aggressor used brass knuckles, police said.

The victim suffered a cut on his left cheek but did not require immediate medical treatment, Augusta Police Lt. Kevin Lully said. Police want to question another 19-year-old man who left the scene after the incident, he said.

5:02 p.m., a past burglary was reported on Crosby Street.

6:09 p.m., criminal trespass was reported at Advantage Property Management on Washington Street.

6:10 p.m., a motor vehicle accident was reported on South Belfast Avenue.

6:26 p.m., terrorizing was reported at MaineGeneral Medical Center on East Chestnut Street.

7:48 p.m., lost property was reported near Cosmic Charlie's on Water Street.

7:53 p.m., a past burglary was reported on Crosby Street.



At 8:25 a.m., a past burglary was reported at Pizza Hut on Western Avenue.

8:54 a.m., burglary from a motor vehicle was reported at Great Wall Buffet on Anthony Avenue.

11:02 a.m., a past burglary was reported on Winthrop Street.

11:26 a.m., a motor vehicle accident was reported at Rite Aid on North Belfast Avenue.

1:16 p.m., a disturbance was reported at Walgreens on Water Street.

1:57 p.m., a motor vehicle accident was reported at Civic Center and Darin drives.

3:17 p.m., suspicious activity was reported at Old Fort Western on Cony Street.




At 10:30 p.m., a family fight was reported on Mallard Lane.



At 9:23 a.m., threatening was reported on Route 133.

12:06 p.m., trespassing was reported on Route 133.

3:04 p.m., disorderly conduct was reported on U.S. Route 202.

3:49 p.m., threatening was reported on Route 41.





At 1 a.m., Troy J. Severance, 33, of Augusta, was arrested on a warrant following a report of an assault on Civic Center Drive.




At 5:43 p.m., Robert O. Baker Jr., 47, of Monmouth, was arrested on charges of unlawful possession of drugs and unlawful trafficking of drugs.
