Four men were arrested Thursday night and charged with selling cocaine, following a year-long investigation of cocaine trafficking in the Mexico and Rumford area.
Arrested were Wayne Sinclair, 53, of Mexico, on two Class B counts; Daniel Allen, 53, of Mexico, arrested on three Class A counts; Darren Joudrey, 51, of Mexico arrested on two Class B counts; and Dana Lee Richardson, 54, of Carthage, arrested on one Class A count.
Under cover Maine Drug Enforcement agents bought cocaine from all four men at Tommy Guns Pit Stop, a bar in Mexico, and other locations in the area, said Steve McCausland, Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman.
Agent and police officers also searched the homes of the four men and seized drugs, cash, scales, packaging material and phones, said McCausland.
The men were taken to Oxford County Jail. Allen’s bail was set at $7,000, Richardson’s at $5,000 and Joudrey’s and Sinclair’s at $3,000.
They were scheduled for arraignment Friday at Oxford County Superior Court.
