Most airlines have canceled flight operations at the Portland International Jetport until Monday morning at around 9 a.m., said Jetport Director Paul Bradbury.
Bradbury said the exceptions are Delta Air Lines, which has not canceled its Sunday morning departure to Atlanta, and Air Canada.
Passengers can find updated flight information at the Jetport's website, www.portlandjetport.org.
The Downeaster passenger rail service has also canceled service Sunday. Officials say it will monitor the storm and check for possible damage to the tracks before deciding whether to resume service on Monday.
Vehicle ferry service to the Casco Bay Islands is expected to be canceled Sunday, based on current weather forecasts.
Airlines nationwide have canceled 3,691 flights today, up from 627 yesterday, according to FlightAware.com.
